PAHO has produced the documentary 'Beyond Borders: The Barbados Defence Force Field Medical Hospital’. The documentary tells the story of how the idea of a field medical hospital was conceptualised, why such a facility is needed for Barbados and our region, how the BDF and PAHO collaborated to make it a reality and achieve Type 1 accreditation, and continue to work together towards achieving Type 2 accreditation..
