The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment apologizes for the delayed publication of the dashboard. This was due to unforeseen circumstances that were experienced by the Ministry’s Epidemiology Unit. The Ministry expresses appreciation to members of the public for their patience during the delay.

In this regard, the most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment covering the period December 27th through to December 31st, 2021 at 6pm revealed two hundred and three (203) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda.

The new cases are as follows: twelve (12) on December 27th, sixty-seven (67) on December 29th, forty-nine (49) on December 30th and seventy-seven (77) on December 31st.

One thousand one hundred and sixty-six (1,166) samples were processed.

There were thirteen (13) recovered cases recorded during the same period as follows: three (3) on December 27th, one (1) on December 29th and nine (9) on December 31st.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is four thousand four hundred and eighty-six (4,486); which is inclusive of two hundred and ninety-one (291) active cases. There are seven (7) hospitalized cases; four (4) moderate and three (3) mild.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
