The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre revealed forty-five (45) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Tuesday, 19th October, 2021 at 6pm.

Sixty-four (64) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre and one hundred and sixty (160) at CARPHA.

One hundred and twenty (120) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to three thousand two hundred and ninety-one (3,291).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is three thousand nine hundred and eighty-four (3,984); which is inclusive of five hundred and ninety-six (596) active cases. There are twenty-six (26) hospitalized cases; sixteen (16) mild, five (5) moderate and five (5) severe.

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty seven thousand two hundred and ninety-eight (47,298) individuals while eight thousand two hundred and thirty-eight (8,238) have only received their first dose.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
