The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre revealed twenty-one (21) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Monday, 18th October, 2021 at 6pm.

Ninety (90) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.

Fifty (50) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to three thousand one hundred and seventy-one (3,171).

Two (2) Covid-19 related deaths were recorded increasing the total to ninety-seven (97).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is three thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine (3,939); which is inclusive of six hundred and seventy-one (671) active cases. There are twenty-six (26) hospitalized cases; sixteen (16) mild, five (5) moderate and five (5) severe.

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated forty seven thousand two hundred and ninety-eight (47,298) individuals while eight thousand two hundred and thirty-eight (8,238) have only received their first dose.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

**Please note that due to a techinical error, the dashboard as of October 15th was inadvertently not published. There were 24 new Covid-19 cases and 18 recoveries recorded on that day. The overall figure was however included and published in the dashboard as of October 16th, 2021**.
