Dashboard Update for August 23, 2021

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed fifty (50) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Saturday, 21st August, 2021 at 6pm.

Thirty (30) of these cases were recorded on August 20th and twenty (20) on August 21st.

The Epidemiology Unit is still in the process of ascertaining whether the cases are imported or non-imported. Once the information is verified, it will be published in a subsequent publication.

Two hundred and ninety-seven (297) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.

Fourteen (14) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to one thousand three hundred and thirteen (1,313).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand five hundred and forty (1,540); which is inclusive of one hundred and eighty-five (185) active cases. There are eighteen (18) hospitalized cases; eleven (11) mild, four (4) moderate and three (3) severe.

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated thirty two thousand eight hundred and sixteen (32,816) individuals while six thousand six hundred and fifty (6,650) have only received their first dose.

Dashboard Update for August 25, 2021

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed fifty-eight (58) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Tuesday, 24th August, 2021 at 6pm.

Nineteen (19) of these cases were recorded on August 23rd and thirty-nine(39) on August 24th.

The Epidemiology Unit is still in the process of ascertaining whether the cases are imported or non-imported. Once the information is verified, it will be published in a subsequent publication.

Two hundred and fifty-two (252) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.

Twenty (20) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to one thousand three hundred and thirty-three (1,333).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand five hundred and ninety-eight(1,598); which is inclusive of two hundred and twenty-two (222) active cases. There are twenty-one (21) hospitalized cases; sixteen (16) mild, two (2) moderate and three (3) severe.

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated thirty three thousand and ninety-four (33,094) individuals while six thousand seven hundred and fourteen (6,714) have only received their first dose.

Dashboard Update for August 27, 2021

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed forty (40) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Wednesday, 25th August, 2021 at 6pm.

The Epidemiology Unit is still in the process of ascertaining whether the cases are imported or non-imported. Once the information is verified, it will be published in a subsequent publication.

One hundred and fifty-five(155) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.

Five (5) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to one thousand three hundred and thirty-eight (1,338).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand six hundred and thirty-eight (1,638); which is inclusive of two hundred and fifty-seven (257) active cases. There are twenty (20) hospitalized cases; sixteen (16) mild, one (1) moderate and three (3) severe.

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated thirty three thousand and one hundred and seventy-seven (33,177) individuals while six thousand eight hundred and fifty-one (6,851) have only received their first dose.
