Dashboard Update for August 17, 2021

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed twenty-four (24) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Tuesday, 16th August, 2021 at 6pm.

Nine (9) of these cases were recorded on August 15th and fifteen (15) on August 16th.

The Epidemiology Unit is still in the process of ascertaining whether these (24) cases are imported or non-imported. Once the investigation is completed, the information will be given in a subsequent publication. These cases are out of one hundred and ninety-seven (197) samples that were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.

Meanwhile, of the nineteen (19) cases published on the dashboard for 15th August, fifteen (15) were non-imported and four (4) imported.

Eleven (11) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to one thousand two hundred and seventy-seven (1,277).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand four hundred and twenty-one (1,421), which is inclusive of one hundred and one (101) active cases. There are nine (9) hospitalized cases; six (6) mild, one (1) moderate and two (2) severe.

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated thirty two thousand two hundred and forty-eight (32,248) individuals while six thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight(6,938) have only received their first dose.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

Dashboard Update for August 20, 2021

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed twenty-six (26) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Tuesday, 17th August, 2021 at 6pm.

Twenty-two (22) cases are non-imported, three (3) imported and one (1) unknown.

One hundred and forty-two (142) samples that were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.

Meanwhile of the (24) cases reported on the previous dashboard, eleven (11) were non-imported, two (2) imported and eleven (11) unknown.

Eight (8) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to one thousand two hundred and eighty-five (1,285).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand four hundred and forty-seven (1,447), which is inclusive of one hundred and nineteen (119) active cases. There are thirteen (13) hospitalized cases; nine (9) mild, two (2) moderate and two (2) severe.

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated thirty two thousand three hundred and seventy (32,370) individuals while six thousand eight hundred and sixty (6,860) have only received their first dose.

Dashboard Update for August 20, 2021 with statistics for August 18th and 19th

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed forty-three (43) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday, 19th August, 2021 at 6pm.

Twenty (20) of these cases were recorded on August 18th and twenty-three (23) on August 19th.

The Epidemiology Unit is still in the process of ascertaining whether the cases are imported or non-imported. Once the information is verified, it will be published in a subsequent publication.

Two hundred and forty-eight (248) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.

Fourteen (14) recovered cases were recorded increasing the total to one thousand two hundred and ninety-nine (1,299).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand four hundred and ninety (1,490); which is inclusive of one hundred and forty-eight (148) active cases. There are thirteen (13) hospitalized cases; nine(9) mild, two(2) moderate and two(2) severe.

Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda has fully vaccinated thirty two thousand three hundred and thirty-three (32,733) individuals while six thousand six hundred and seventy-nine (6,679) have only received their first dose.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
