The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed two (2) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 case in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday 22nd July 2021 at 6pm. Both cases are non-imported.

Seventy-seven (77) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand two hundred and eighty (1280); which is inclusive of eight (8) active cases. There are three (3) mild hospitalized cases.

Meanwhile, thirty seven thousand five hundred and fifty-five (37,555) first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered of which thirty thousand two hundred and ninety-two (30,292) received the second dose.
