The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed two (2) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Tuesday, 20th July, 2021 at 6pm.

One (1) of the cases was recorded on the 19th July and the other case on 20th July 2021.

One hundred and thirty-three (133) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC between the 19th and 20th July.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand two hundred and seventy-seven (1,277); which is inclusive of ten (10) active cases. There is one (1) hospitalized case being considered severe.

Meanwhile, thirty seven thousand four hundred and forty-eight (37,448) first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered of which twenty eight thousand nine hundred and sixty (28,960) received the second dose.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
