The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Sir Lester Bird Mount St. John Medical Centre has revealed one new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 case in Antigua and Barbuda as of Wednesday, 7th July, 2021 at 6pm.

Ninety-nine (99) samples were processed at Sir Lester Bird MSJMC.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand two hundred and sixty-six (1,266), which is inclusive of two (2) active cases. There is one hospitalized case where the symptoms are considered to be moderate.

Meanwhile, thirty six thousand eight hundred and twenty-six (36,826) first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered of which twenty eight thousand two hundred and fifty-one (28,251) received the second dose.
