Dashboard Statistics for May 17 and May 18, 2021

The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. Johns Medical Centre (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed three (3) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Tuesday, 18th May, 2021 at 6pm.

The new cases were recorded on 18th May, 2021 and came out of one hundred and twenty-eight (128) samples processed by MSJMC and CARPHA.

Four (4) recovered cases were recorded on May 18th, 2021 increasing the total to one thousand one hundred and eighty-eight(1,188).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand two hundred and fifty-five (1,255), which is inclusive of twenty-five (25) active cases. Of these active cases two (2) are hospitalized with all being considered mild.

Meanwhile, thirty two thousand (32,000) first doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered while three thousand four hundred and fifty-two (3,452) second doses were administered.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
