The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. Johns Medical Centre (MSJMC) has revealed one (1) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 case in Antigua and Barbuda as of Saturday, 17th April, 2021 at 6pm.

This was as a result of one hundred and five (105) samples processed by MSJMC.

Nine (9) recovered cases have been recorded increasing the total to nine hundred and ninety-five (995).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one thousand two hundred and seventeen (1217), which is inclusive of one hundred and ninety-one (191) active cases. Of these active cases, four (4) are hospitalized with one (1) being considered as moderate and three (3) mild.

Meanwhile, the total number of individuals vaccinated remains at twenty eight thousand, eight hundred and eighty-three (28,883).

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
