The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC) has revealed twenty-three (23) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Wednesday, 17th February, 2021.

Of the one hundred and fifteen (115) samples processed by MSJMC, ninety-one (91) were negative and twenty-four (24) positive. One (1) of the positive cases was a repeat test. Investigations have begun and contact tracing and testing are ongoing.

One (1) recovery has been recorded bringing the total to two hundred and fourteen (214).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is five hundred and forty-eight (548); which is inclusive three hundred and twenty-four (324) active cases.

Meanwhile, one hundred and sixty-six (166) samples are pending.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
