The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed thirty-eight (38) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday, 11th February, 2021.

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard for Wednesday, 10th February, 2021 with the cut off time of 6pm, eighty-one (81) additional samples were processed by MSJMC increasing the pending results from one hundred and seventy-three (173) at CARPHA to two hundred and fifty-four (254) in total.

Of the eighty-one (81) samples processed by MSJMC, sixty-eight (68) were negative and thirteen (13) positive while of the one hundred and seventy-three (173) processed by CARPHA, one hundred and forty-six (146) were negative and twenty-seven (27) positive; two (2) of which were repeat tests.

The thirty-eight (38) cases are non-imported. Investigations have begun and contact tracing and testing are ongoing.

The eighty-one (81) additional samples are reflected in the ‘total samples taken’ and ‘total persons tested’ columns of the dashboard.

Two (2) recoveries have been recorded bringing the total to one hundred and ninety-nine (199)

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is four hundred and nineteen (419); which is inclusive of two hundred and eleven (211) active cases.

Meanwhile, seventy-six (76) samples are pending.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

Subsequent to the dashboard published on February 12th, 2021, the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment received additional test results from the Mount St. John Medical Centre (MSJMC) which has revealed eight (8) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Friday, 12th February, 2021 at 6pm.

These new cases resulted from the seventy-six (76) pending samples of which sixty-eight (68) were negative and eight (8) positive. The eight (8) cases are non-imported. Investigations have begun and contact tracing and testing are ongoing.

Eight (8) additional persons were hospitalized bringing the total to forty-one (41)

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is four hundred and twenty-seven (427) which is inclusive of two hundred and nineteen (219) active cases.

Meanwhile, one hundred and twenty-eight (128) samples are pending.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
