The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed nineteen (19) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Tuesday, 2nd February, 2021.

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard for Tuesday, 2nd February, with the cut off time of 6pm, one hundred and forty-seven (147) additional samples were processed by MSJMC increasing the pending results from one hundred and ninety-eight (198) to three hundred and forty-five (345).

Of the one hundred and forty-seven (147) samples processed by MSJMC, one hundred and forty-one (141) were negative and six (6) positive; of the one hundred and ninety-eight (198) processed by CARPHA, one hundred and eighty-five (185) were negative and thirteen (13) positive.

Seventeen (17) cases are non-imported and two (2) imported. Investigations have begun and contact tracing and testing are ongoing.

The one hundred and forty-seven (147) samples from MSJMC are reflected in the total persons tested and total samples taken columns of the dashboard.

Meanwhile, two (2) recoveries have been recorded bringing that total to one hundred and eighty-one (181).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is two hundred and sixty-eight (268), which is inclusive of eighty (80) active cases.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
