The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed two (2) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Friday, 29th January, 2021.

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard for Friday, 29th January, 2021 with the cut off time of 6pm, one hundred and sixty-eight (168) samples were processed by MSJMC and twenty-seven (27) by CARPHA which increased the pending results from ninety-two (92) to one hundred and ninety-five (195) samples in total.

Of the one hundred and sixty-eight (168) samples processed by MSJMC all yielded negative results while of the twenty-seven (27) samples processed by CARPHA, twenty-five (25) were negative and two (2) positive. The two (2) positive cases are non-imported. Investigations have begun and contact tracing and testing are ongoing.

Meanwhile, six (6) additional persons have been hospitalized and one hundred and sixty-seven (167) samples are pending.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is two hundred and twenty (220); which is inclusive of thirty-nine (39) active cases. The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed fourteen (14) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Saturday, 30th January, 2021.

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard for Saturday, 30th January, 2021 with the cut off time of 6pm, an additional ten (10) samples were processed by CARPHA increasing their total from forty-four (44) to fifty-four (54) samples while one hundred and twenty-three (123) samples were processed by MSJMC which increased the overall pending results from one hundred and sixty-seven (167) to one hundred and seventy-seven (177) samples in total.

Of the one hundred and twenty-three (123) samples processed by MSJMC, one hundred and nineteen (119) were negative and four (4) positive while of the fifty-four (54) processed by CARPHA, forty-four (44) were negative and ten (10) positive.

Two (2) of the cases are imported and twelve (12) non-imported. Investigations have begun and contact tracing and testing are ongoing.

Meanwhile, two (2) new recovered cases have been recorded bringing that total to one hundred and seventy-seven (177). Three (3) additional persons have been hospitalized bringing that total to seventeen (17).

There are three hundred and twelve (312) samples pending.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is two hundred and thirty-four (234); which is inclusive of fifty-one (51) active cases.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
