The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Center (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed three (3) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday, 21st January, 2021.

All one hundred and twenty-two (122) samples processed by MSJMC yielded negative results while of the forty-five (45) samples processed by CARPHA, forty-two (42) were negative and three (3) positive. The three (3) new cases are non-imported. Investigations are ongoing and contact tracing and testing is in progress.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one hundred and ninety-five (195); which is inclusive of twenty-seven (27) active cases.

Meanwhile, one hundred and fifteen (115) samples are pending.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Center (MSJMC) has revealed three (3) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Saturday, 23rd January, 2021.

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard for Friday, 22nd January, 2021 with the cut off time of 6pm, two hundred and twenty-four (224) additional samples were processed by MSJMC increasing the pending results from one hundred and fifteen (115) to three hundred and thirty-nine (339).

Of the three hundred and thirty-nine (339) samples processed by MSJMC, three hundred and thirty-five (335) samples were negative and four (4) positive. Of the four (4) positive, two (2) were non-imported and one (1) imported. The other sample was a repeat test.

Meanwhile, one (1) new recovery has been recorded bringing that total to one hundred and sixty-three (163).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one hundred and ninety-eight (198); which is inclusive of twenty-nine (29) active cases.

Meanwhile, one hundred and five (105) samples are pending.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
