The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Center (MSJMC) has revealed no new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Tuesday, 19th January, 2021.

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard for Tuesday, 19th January, 2021 with the cut off time of 6pm, twenty-six (26) additional samples were processed increasing the pending results from one hundred and four (104) to one hundred and thirty (130).

All one hundred and thirty (130) samples processed by MSJMC and CARPHA yielded negative results and are reflected in the total persons tested and total samples taken columns of the dashboard.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda remains at one hundred and ninety (190); which is inclusive of twenty-seven (27) active cases.

Meanwhile, forty-seven (47) samples are pending.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Center (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed two (2) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Wednesday, 20th January, 2021.

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard for Wednesday, 20th January, 2021 with the cut off time of 6pm, seventy-one (71) additional samples were processed by MSJMC increasing the pending results from forty-seven (47) to one hundred and eighteen (118).

All seventy-one (71) samples processed by MSJMC yielded negative results and are reflected in the total persons tested and total samples taken columns of the dashboard.

Of the forty-seven (47) samples processed by CARPHA, forty-five (45) were negative and two (2) positive. One (1) of the positive cases is imported while the other is non-imported. Investigations are ongoing and contact tracing and testing is in progress.

Meanwhile, five (5) recoveries have been recorded bringing that total to one hundred and sixty-two (162). One hundred and sixty-seven (167) samples are pending.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one hundred and ninety-two (192); which is inclusive of twenty-four (24) active cases.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
