The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Center (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed three (3) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday, 14th January, 2021 at 6pm.

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard for Thursday, 14th January, 2021 with the cut off time of 6pm, seventy-five (75) samples were processed at the Mount St. John’s Medical Center which increased the pending results from eighty-three (83) to one hundred and fifty-eight (158).

Of the eighty-three (83) samples processed by MSJMC, eighty-two (82) were negative and one (1) positive while of the seventy-five (75) processed by CARPHA, seventy-two (72) were negative and three (3) positive. One(1) of the positive samples was a repeat test.

Two (2) of the new cases are non-imported while one (1) is imported. Investigations are ongoing and contact tracing and testing is in progress.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one hundred and eighty-seven (187); which is inclusive of twenty-five (25) active cases.

Meanwhile, seventy one (71) samples are pending.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Center (MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed two (2) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Saturday, 16th January, 2021 at 6pm.

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard for Friday, 15th January, 2021 with the cut off time of 6pm, one hundred and fifteen (115) additional samples were processed at the Mount St. John’s Medical Center and thirty-three (33) at CARPHA which increased the pending results from seventy-one (71) to two hundred and nineteen (219).

All one hundred and eighty-six (186) samples processed by MSJMC were negative and are reflected in the total persons tested and total samples taken columns of the dashboard.

Of the thirty-three (33) samples processed by CARPHA, thirty-one (31) were negative and two (2) positive. The two (2) new cases are non-imported. Investigations are ongoing and contact tracing and testing is in progress.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one hundred and eighty-nine (189); which is inclusive of twenty-seven (27) active cases.

Meanwhile, fifty-four (54) samples are pending.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
