The most recent report received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Center (MSJMC) has revealed two (2) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Thursday, 7th January, 2021 at 6pm.

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard for Thursday, 7th January, 2021 with the cut off time of 6pm, fifty (50) samples were processed at the Mount St. John’s Medical Center which increased the pending results from thirty-six (36) to eighty-six (86).

Of the eighty-six (86) processed by MSJMC, eighty-four (84) were negative and two (2) positive. The samples are reflected in the total persons tested and total samples taken columns of the dashboard.

Meanwhile, two (2) recoveries have been recorded bringing that total to one hundred and fifty-two (152).

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one hundred and sixty-nine (169); which is inclusive of twelve (12) active cases.

Seventeen (17) samples were sent to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) earlier today.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.

The most recent reports received by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment from the Mount St. John’s Medical Center(MSJMC) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) have revealed seven (7) new laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda as of Saturday, 9th January, 2021 at 6pm.

Subsequent to the publication of the dashboard for Friday, 8th January, 2021 with the cut off time of 6pm, two hundred (200) samples were processed at the Mount St. John’s Medical Center which increased the pending results from seventeen (17) to two hundred and seventeen (217).

Of the two hundred (200) processed by MSJMC, one hundred and ninety-eight (198) were negative and two (2) positive while of the seventeen (17) processed by CARPHA, eleven (11) were negative and six (6) positive. One (1) of the positive samples from CARPHA was a repeat test.

The samples are reflected in the total persons tested and total samples taken columns of the dashboard.

Consequently, the total number of persons with laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Antigua and Barbuda is one hundred and seventy-six (176); which is inclusive of nineteen (19) active cases.

The dashboard has been updated to reflect these changes.
