The Government of Antigua and Barbuda through the Ministry of Tourism and Investment and the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority has secured the hosting of the RORC 600 for another 5 years.

The announcement of this came at the welcome ceremony for the 2020 installment of the race which is in its 12th year. The race will see Antigua and Barbuda playing host to teams from 39 nations and over 74 vessels.

According to Race organizers, “the race has grown in popularity, not only due to the tactical, challenging and superb racing conditions provided by the course as it weaves its way around 11 islands, but also because of the parties that top and tail the race itself!”

He continued that “the Government of Antigua and Barbuda recognizes the importance of the race to our yachting calendar as well as its huge economic impact on tourism economy overall and has established an agreement with the organizers to commit to hosting the event for the next 5 years”.
