Attorney General extends condolences to burn victim's family

Attorney General the Hon. Steadroy Cutie Benjamin and Parliamentary Representative for the St. John's City South Constituency extends his deepest condolences to the family of burnt victim Marlon Knowles who sadly succumbed to his injuries at a Cuban Medical facility on Thursday.

Benjamin said, "it is a tragic loss, such a young man with a bright future ahead of him".

My heart goes out to the Kirby family especially his mother Sharon Kirby who resides within the City South Constituency.

The announcement of the 20 year old's death was made by the Minister of Health the Hon. Molwyn Joseph during Thursday's Debate in the House of Parliament.

Knowles was airlifted to a medical facility in Cuba on Wednesday with second and third degree burns to about 80% of his body.

The Government of Antigua and Barbuda pledged full medical assistance for Marlon Knowles care.
